The first download I put up on this site was from the delgados, and so it's with a strange sense of accomplishment that today I can write about a song from delgado Emma Pollock. She's been working on a solo record for most of the past year, and since she's playing at Austin's big shinding next month, sxsw.com has a song of hers. It's very skeletal, pretty, and a little underwhelming if I'm honest. I'm sure it'll fit better in the context of her album whenever it drops. What do you think?
She's playing a couple of shows in NYC before SXSW, check her out if you can. And because I'm a show-off, here's a picture of her sniffing my neck.
