I have fond memories of the day before i left Manchester for good when it snowed for the first time in 3 years and I played Snow very loudly until my housemates threatened to hit me. I think, on reflection, they had a valid point.

I can identify with the feeling. I still have dozens of free promos from the FSView. But I suppose you must have listened to your CDs at least once, since you were writing about that. I never really did. Vinyl Fever is profiting from these now, giving me ~$1.50 each for them and selling them for maybe $3-6.

I suppose you also have a stronger moral fiber since you donate them to Goodwill instead of hawking them.

This is something of a myth, perpetuated by Revie's enemies (and the Northern-phobic London press). That Leeds side could certainly mix it when needed, but they were also one of the finest football sides ever produced in this country and the dominant team of that era, as almost universally attested to by their contemporaries. While the performances are very good in the TDU, the casting leaves something to be desired. The actor playing Norman Hunter, PFA Players' Player of the Year 1974, has man boobs. Stephen Graham is an excellent actor, but he's not even an approximate facsimile of Billy Bremner. Given that the producers found an athletic-looking actor to play Dave Mackay (some 8 years Bremner's senior), the limitations of the casting pool can scarcely be considered a plausible excuse. It's about as sensible as having Eddie Murphy play Thierry Henry, to choose an Arsenal example for you.
